Slept in until 8am (sluggard!). Read Psalm 85 and Ephesians 2. Studied for tomorrow morning’s message (John 3:1-12). Several emails. Updated the church website (put up October’s Bible reading guide). Prepared and cleaned the Community Center for tomorrow’s services (bathrooms, fun). Worked some more on sermons. Went to Meagan’s piano recital, then off to Mentor for needed shopping (Mentor in two days, ugh!)

On the way home from Mentor, had an unknown caller on my cell phone, and it was none other than my old college friend Stuart Schwenke! It was good to talk to him, and am looking forward to catching up from the last 15+ years or so.

Final preparations for Sunday, then hit the sack!
