I don’t always enjoy getting out of bed, but I do enjoy my morning “ritual”—coffee, toast with butter, and reading my Bible. This has been my normal routine since the mid-1990s, at least. Today I read Psalm 33, an excellent, encouraging, and challenging psalm, from the get-go “Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright” (v. 1). Wow–“Praise is becoming to the upright”!!!

Trish and I went to Youngstown to pick up the van, and drove back. Packed it up, and left around 10:30. Stopped for a quick bite to eat around 1pm, and arrived at the hotel around 4pm. Got unpacked, rested and checked things out in the hotel a bit, and then went for a picnic to Big Bone Lick park.

Came back to the hotel and went swimming! Wow, does that wear a guy out and help bring his blood sugars down! Relaxed the remainder of the evening with everyone. Prayed for the folks at Orwell Bible Church as they had prayer meeting tonight! Hopefully we’ll rest well as tomorrow is a big day—the Creation Museum, and then drive part way down to BJU.
