Began the day—as I try to everyday—reading God’s Word while eating breakfast. I’m reminded of one of my “hero’s,” Robert Ketcham, who advocated and followed the dictum, “no Bible, no breakfast.” Maybe I’m not as spiritual, but I need my coffee in the morning with my Bible! Psalm 40 and 1 Corinthians 6.

Today is Lydia’s 5^th birthday! Happy birthday, Lydia! Trish and some of the kids went to the beach for the morning.

Worked on my challenge for prayer meeting tonight, picked out the hymns. Updated and printed copies of a pamphlet on prayer. Emails. Ran to Middlefield Wal-Mart for church supplies (“run” = at least 40 minutes drive time, depending on buggies).

Prayer meeting—was good to be back with our church family. We didn’t leave until 9:50pm!
