Over twenty years ago I was given the biography of Robert T. Ketcham, Portrait of Obedience. Ketcham’s life has been a great encouragement and example to me over the years.
In the front flyleaf of my Bible I have written Ketcham’s pastoral theology which was given on page 252 of the biography:
- Preach Christ.
- Give the whole counsel of God.
- Expose error—neoevangelicalism especially.
- Obey God.
- Be available to your people.
I pray the Lord will help me by his grace to so faithfully serve him for his glory.
