Over twenty years ago I was given the biography of Robert T. Ketcham, Portrait of Obedience. Ketcham’s life has been a great encouragement and example to me over the years.

In the front flyleaf of my Bible I have written Ketcham’s pastoral theology which was given on page 252 of the biography:

1. Preach Christ.
2. Give the whole counsel of God.
3. Expose error—neoevangelicalism especially.
4. Obey God.
5. Be available to your people.

I pray the Lord will help me by his grace to so faithfully serve him for his glory.
