I read 2 Corinthians 8-9 for my morning Bible reading, and we read Genesis 4 together as a family. We learned from Cain how sin can affect our “countenance” (we had fun doing different “countenances” such as happy, sad, anger, quizzical, etc) and noted God’s word to Cain in verse 7—“If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up?”

Emailed the local paper a news release about the upcoming Bible class. Prepared mailings to go out. Tried two different locations to record our gospel on CD. Failed. Background noise is killing me. I found out that all “big kids” are gone until at least 3pm, so the CD recording is put on hold when I hadn’t even started! L Oh, well. One thing I’ve learned over the last 20+ years is to be patient and flexible. Not always easy, but when there’s not much you can do about a situation, you just waste time griping and whining about it. Find something else that needs doing, do it, and stay up late to do what you needed to do but couldn’t! 🙂

Installed the new printer the church bought for printing CD’s and DVD’s.

After awhile I was able to have another go at recording the CD. Cemetery’s sure are great places—nice and quiet! 🙂

Tacos for dinner. Josiah wanted to play chess again; he continues to improve, and he’s hilarious to watch and listen to. Worked on printing literature for the next series, and then worked on the gospel CD. Bedtime.
